Instant Pot 7-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cooker Review
Although the pressure cooker does not mean the needs of the kitchen, it is the dream of every nerd tool kitchen. I have been considering buying one for years and finally decided it was time for one to join my growing collection of small tools, so I included in my wedding registry. The outside is made with brushed stainless steel fingerprint resistant. For these types of small appliances that can be widely used, the quality of the fingerprint-resistant can save a lot of time!
Given all the small appliance is not, it is relatively small: 13 x 12.6 x 12.2 inches. This is especially important for me because I have limited storage space and can only find so many nooks and crannies for my new kitchen toy. When you choose where to store the pressure cooker, keep in mind that it weighs 12 pounds, so do not make it too difficult to obtain.
FUNCTION
The Instant Pot 7-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cooker also exceeded peers when it comes to function and eventually play a major role in my decision. One of these little tool acts as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice / porridge cooker, steamer, stir-fried / brownish appliance, yogurt maker, and a warm meal. I had not even considered that the rice cooker or a yogurt maker may be an option when making this purchase. All built-in intelligent program mentioned earlier in this review comes with a suggested cooking time, which means that yes, this does not require any Instant Pot babysitting! This is a huge step up from the traditional pressure cooker hob. For the most part, you can set it and forget it, like your slow cooker. However, as your slow cooker, food left in it too long on a warm setting can be too long for food. If you do not want to use the recommended time, you can manually adjust the time according to your needs.
Unlike most slow cookers, pressure cooker has a delay timer that will work up to 24 hours in advance. This is a remarkable function for non-durable food you. You can arrange the potatoes in it and delay cook until just before you plan to eat or get porridge is ready to go before sleep so you can wake up to breakfast and be ready.
EFFICIENT
A pressure cooker can cook food that you would normally prepare it in the slow cooker, oven, or on the stove top two to seven times faster. When reading the user reviews on Amazon, I find it difficult to find anything that describes itself as a pressure cooker small appliance substandard. Almost all associated with the packaging or arrives with dents. Others clearly do not read the descriptions carefully and think they are getting traditional rice cooker, when it can do so much more. Type approval of universal really solidified my decision. Paired with the fact that I can use it for anything from making just one hour to bake homemade yoghurt for breakfast waiting for me when I wake up, this pressure cooker will be a powerhouse tool in my kitchen.
